Calgary, Alberta -- Canada As One, a PPE distributor that specializes in masks, is working with Breathe Medical Manufacturing and collaborating with Grace Yan, Calgary Mayoral Candidate to donate over 2 million medical and non-medical masks to frontline workers, non-profit organizations, and the community as a show of appreciation and give back during the pandemic. Frontline workers can access the donation via a portal on the Canada As One website or Grace Yan for Mayor Campaign website www.GraceYanForMayor.com which will remain open until the end of October, 2021, or when supply runs out. Canada As One is a PPE distributor based in Calgary and works with Breathe Medical Manufacturing, a Kelowna based mask manufacturer, to provide Canadian made medical (N95s, ASTM level 1,2 and 3), and non-medical masks that the public can rely on. Both companies were built on the belief that Canadians deserve timely access to quality masks at all times, most importantly during a global pandemic. “It hurt me to see our country struggle to supply our frontline workers with the proper protection they needed when the pandemic first started. Our leaders failed frontline workers at a time when they needed the most support. They can make the choice to support Canadian mask manufacturers such as ourselves, but they didn’t back then and still don’t really do so today. As we’ve already seen, it ends up hurting all of us,” said David Lee, CEO of Canadas As One, as he referred to the mask shortage that occurred at the beginning of the pandemic due to high demand and long international shipping times for medical masks made in China. “We must support local.
